You may experience temporary side effects from your procedure. They usually are pretty harmless and don’t last very long. You might be sensitive to light and see halos at nighttime. Some people have said that they have blurry vision for a few days. Some people say that they might feel a little uncomfortable in their eyes – almost like something is scratching their eyes.

To reduce all side effects, we recommend that you don’t rub or squeeze your eyes for one week. You should wear sunglasses when you are outside. Women shouldn’t wear makeup for about a week. We recommend that you don’t do any strenuous activity for the first week.

It is also important to use the medications as prescribed and follow up with us as recommended. We want you to have the best recovery possible and by following some guidelines, you will be back up and going in about a week.
